Geosan completed its first contract in 1998 for locations near the Oyu Tolgoi and Gatsuurt deposits using a single magnetic system. Since then, Geosan has grown the capability to conduct nearly the entire gamut of ground and airborne surveys available today. The company has completed over 70 airborne geophysical projects in Mongolia and has also conducted IP and magnetic surveys for clients in Myanmar, Laos, Inner Mongolia and China’s Sichuan and Yunnan provinces. In 2013, with the addition of a new Cessna Caravan 208B, the company introduced charter flights to its line of services, primarily to companies in the mining, drilling and tourism industry, private individuals and medical evacuation service providers.
